The Best School for Your Kids Living in Palm Springs California.
Education is extremely important, especially when it comes to educating our youth. They are our future, and we need to invest in them from the very beginning. That starts with a great education and learning experience. The perfect place for them to receive that is Kings Schools in Cathedral City, California.
For the past six years I’ve sent my children to Kings Schools where they have received a top notch education in an environment that inspires growth and challenges them every single day to get better. They have a wide range of programs to be suitable for ages 6 weeks all the way up to grade eight. Starting with their preschool program which serves up until five years of age. Followed by the Elementary School program which is for children in kindergarten through fifth grade and ending with Middle School for grades six through eight.
Their mission is to provide a Christian education with God’s word being central, and an emphasis on academic excellence, strong discipleship, and physical/spiritual training of the child as a whole. One of the main goals, in any education system is to educate children and inspire them to transform their society and communities.
The commitment Kings Schools has to integrating faith into learning and empowering students to excel is evident in the dedication of qualified and passionate teachers. Time and time again, these teachers mold the children to make a better future keeping in mind Christian virtues.
In addition to the core subjects of Math, Language, Science, Social Studies, and Bible, K-5 students receive instruction in Music (twice weekly), Physical Education (2-3 times weekly), Art (once weekly), Computers (once weekly), and Spanish (once weekly). 5th Grade students receive instruction in Ukulele as part of their music curriculum. Middle School students have a seven period schedule of Math, English, Science, History, Bible, PE, and Electives. Chapel is held weekly for all grades, K-8.
If you don’t want to take my word for how great this school is, we can look at the facts! Last year, 95% of the students at Kings Schools had at least a 3.0 grade average or higher, 85% of students were on the honor roll, which entails having a 3.5 or higher, and 40% of those students were on the headmaster’s list which is a 4.0! Those are some AMAZING statistics for a school system to have. The kids earn these grades, there’s no doubt about that, but a part of it is also the culture that the school promotes in which it is cool to get good grades. This is something I found very unique about Kings Schools. At other schools, the smart kids are labeled as nerds and you’re unpopular if you’re the one making a speech or getting involved, but here at Kings Schools, these things are looked at as positive attributes!
Sending my children to school here has been one of the best decisions I’ve made which is why I wanted to share it with you. Thanks for tuning in!
